Join us Saturday, Oct. 28 for the LHCC Annual Mtg. from 10-Noon; check-in and voting from 8:30-10:30 a.m.

The Lake Holiday Country Club, Inc., Annual Meeting of Members, will be held at the Clubhouse and will be recorded on Saturday, October 28, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with check-in commencing at 8:30 a.m.

There will be an annual review of accomplishments, Treasurer’s report, the announcement of newly elected board directors, and an open forum at the end.

The election to fill four open Board Positions will be conducted in accordance with Lake Holiday Policies, Rules, and Procedures (PRP) No. 16, Elections and Voting, posted for reference on the Lake Holiday website and available at the Management Office.

Three (3) vacancies will be filled for three (3) three-year terms.

Along with the resumes is the video of the Candidates Forum that was held on Saturday, September 30th, at 10:00 a.m., providing the opportunity to see the candidates, hear their views and opinions, submit questions, and listen to their responses.

If you did not sign up for electronic voting, your Absentee Ballot was mailed to you along with a Ballot Envelope and Ballot Mailing Envelope. All absentee ballots (both paper and electronic) must be received by the Management Office before 5 p.m., Thursday, October 26th.

Once submitted, the Absentee Ballot may not be retracted or changed. However, it may be withdrawn by the Member in-person at the Annual Meeting of Members.

Voting in Person – Members must check-in (providing photo identification) at the Annual Meeting of Members, officially signifying attendance. Members who wish to cast their ballot at the meeting will be provided an Official Ballot.

The deadline for all voting is 10:30 a.m.

To qualify to vote or to be a candidate for a Director’s position, an individual must be an Eligible and In Good Standing Member, as of October 13th, the Record Date. Candidates who are nominated from the floor at the Annual Meeting of Members must also provide evidence of their willingness to serve on the Board.

Any elected Director must have been a Member of the Association for at least one year, as of the date of the election.

A ballot will be disqualified if you cast more than one vote for a candidate (called cumulative voting), or if you vote for more candidates than there are open Board Positions.
