Even though our name implies we simply quilt, in actuality we do many different things. We have, in the past, made cloth Easter baskets, large tote bags, reusable grocery bags, table runners, placemats, napkins, pillows, Christmas decorations, pillowcases, casserole carry bags, snap purses, wall hangings, baby quilts, wine cozies, and decorative quilts, to name just a few.
In addition, we have made and donated items to the pediatric floor of Winchester Hospital, Froggies Closet, Clubhouse Christmas Tree, and Cork Street rehab hospital. A few individuals do not bring a sewing machine and simply crochet or needle point. Anyone from beginner to master quilter are invited. We LOVE getting new members. We are a very social group and enjoy sharing stories about our families and time on the lake.
