
The Board approved the following:
- Combining the Lake Restoration and Forest Management working groups and establish the Natural Resources Subcommittee under Master Planning.
- The recommendations of the Welcoming Working Group which were to include, but not necessarily require:
- Continue providing gift bags to newcomers.
- Include a welcome letter, Lake Holiday newsletter, information about Lake Holiday and the area, swag and disclaimer Lake Holiday does not endorse the businesses that contribute the swag.
- Provide meet and greet meetings.
- The Welcome Working Group will work with the Lake Holiday Office to provide the gifts bags to newcomers and track costs, number of bags provided and submit as part of their meeting minutes.
- Transferring $4,596.49 from CIP Fund line item 8010.26 into 8010.29 (Clubhouse/Marina Paving).
- Transferring $8,702 from CIP Fund line item 8010.40 into 8010.11 (Beach II Enhancement and Erosion) to fund construction of a jetty at Beach II.
- Setting aside a NTE $5K in 2023 Undesignated Funds to support travel costs for initial introduction and orientation visits by forest and wildlife consulting firms to assist with forest and lake management.
- Funding to grade and gravel boat trailer parking (13 slots) at the top of the Clubhouse parking lot and restripe the tennis parking lot (16 slots) for a NTE $17K from CIP Funds in response to create additional parking during summer months.
