New Park Benches on the Dam

Did you notice?  The Buildings & Grounds Committee worked hard to add an easy and quite welcome amenity to the dam.  Two new benches!

The dam is a frequent stroll for many walkers within the community and often sees visitors during the “prime time” — sunrise and sunset!  Well, for those of us who want to take in the beauty and wonderment of nature, be a water activities spectator, or just take a brief respite from your exercising, on each end of the dam you take a seat!

Phil McAllister was appropriately recognized by the Buildings & Grounds group both for his leadership, skills with his hands, and the generous donation of the concrete pads upon which the benches sit.  Also thanks to the maintenance crew for the added “sprucing up” around the areas, too!  Great work by everyone.
