President’s Report October 2020

I have been approached by community members asking to bid on the Snack Shack venue for next season.  A procedure needs to be developed awarding the spot this winter to allow adequate time for a spring opening.

I have been asked to address the enforcement of the PRP that requires members to accompany their invited guests at the beach and other LH amenities. Some members feel the guest attendance is being abused.

The gates on the newly constructed dog park are locked and a sign placed announcing a 2021 opening. Most of the grass seed has taken hold. Permanent signs that will indicate the location of the small/large dog two areas and the rules governing the park have been ordered.

GM Mike and Robert Middleton are continuing to work on a plan to improve the air circulation/purification in the Fitness Center. Their findings and cost to correct the situation should be available in a few weeks.

Greenway is making progress on the design of Beach 2 with the County. We should have final OK within a few weeks and begin the bidding process.
